1
Record Daily
All team members must record time in Harvest daily. Time is captured more accurately when recorded daily than when recorded less frequently — it's easy to forget how time was spent when recalling it from prior days or weeks. Daily capture also gives the firm more responsive reporting on where our energy is going.
2
Meet the Minimums
All full-time team members must work and record a minimum of forty (40) hours per week and eight (8) hours per weekday.
3
Submit Every Monday
Submit the weekly time report every Monday by 9:00pm Central. Once all time for the week is recorded, click Submit Week for Approval at the bottom of the timesheet in Harvest. Harvest emails a reminder each Monday.
// How Time Codes Are Built
Client Project Task
101-11-01
101 Client ID — three digits (e.g. 101 Parkside Capital, 103 KDW).
11 Service — two digits for the service we're providing (see table below).
01 Project — two digits specific to the project, if needed.

The hierarchy in Harvest is Client › Project › Task. Every project ID follows the structure XXX-XX-XX.

Tasks don't have unique ID numbers. Most projects have a task named General Activities — some have only that one, others have several.

Client 999 is reserved for internal VantageCFO activities. Its codes are listed below.
